Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Elizabeth -- more prayers headed your way ... and not to upset anyone too much but PrinceWilliam County has reported cases of Type A flu which a homeschooled friend's son had ... please have 'em checked if it doesn't snap pretty quick.

Blessings and hugs and can I do anything?????

Prayers for you. And have you tried a bruised cabbage leaf in your bra for the mastitis? It usually works for me. Hang in there.

Have the cabbage--actually I'm on the second head since Mary Beth cooked the first head . Called the doctor about the kids. Since the fevers are "only" lasting 48-60 hours, he doesn't want to test. The whole thing seems to last about five days...flu is generally seven. At least that's what they're telling me.

My heart sank when I heard your fragile Sarah has a fever. I'll pray for a speedy recovery for her and all of your children.

Adding my prayers for your family. It sounds like one of those times you look back at and say, "Remember that time we all had that bug with the really high fever...:

Best to look *back* on those times...
