Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Oh goodness! I have to tell a similar incidence with two children who found two bottles of white out, the older kind in small glass bottles and "paint brushes" on the end of the application wand. I was out one evening at a meeting and returned home to one very panicked older teen son who was responsible for his younger siblings in my absence. He was "busy" doing his own thing when the little ones woke from their nap and found the jars. I came home to my teen trying to scrap every single dark wooden surface on our living room furniture that had been "painted" white! Do you know how hard it is to get that stuff off? Awful! And then, one of the same littles had an infatuation with drawing circles with lines inside, like wagon wheels from a pioneer wagon and he had also taken a black permanent marker to my two brand new lampshades which upon my entry into the house now sported wagon wheel drawings everywhere on them both. I almost walked back out the door but then I saw both our little ones smiling at me as if their artistry was something of a gift to me and they both looked so very proud of themselves. ugh, ugh, ugh... One is now graduating from highschool this year, and I have to say he has never forgotten about his love of wagon wheels, which were also "carved" into my bedroom dresser one evening with his dinner knife he sneaked up to surprise me with more of his artistry. Uh-boy... things children do.

I have to add this because I think my ds gets points for originality (or weirdness). We leased a minivan and he sat in the last row. Over a period of months, he chewed on his seatbelt (he was 7 at the time, but he is on the autistic spectrum) to the extent that it was halfway to splitting in two. Try explaining that to the dealership when it's time to turn the van in...
