Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

How's the hip today, Charlotte? I sure hope you're getting around better!

I thought it was worse this morning, but it seems to be much better this evening so I think it is definitely muscle related and is worse when the muscles are stiff as opposed to nice and warm. I have been doing the doorway hamstring stretch that Angie described and also another one. I will try to describe it for anyone who might need the help.

On my back, I bend my left leg up towards with ceiling with my foot still on the floor. I cross my right leg over the left and let it rest on the left knee at about the shin. Then I slowly raise the left knee up and try to bring it closer to my chest. It is basically another way to stretch your hamstring and even though my hamstring is not the muscle that feels injured, these stretches are helping my lower back which was causing the pain in my hip.

Thank you for all the prayers. My anxiety level has been incredibly low considering medical issues usually set me off and I know that is due to your prayerful support!

I hope you are better today, too, Charlotte! I thought of you last night when the storms rolled in...your part of the metroplex looked pretty bad...we got hammered, too...a tornado pretty close but we are fine!
Sorry for the sidetrack, still praying for you!!
