I did something to my hip that is making it hard to get around today. Would you mind saying a quick prayer that this hitch in my get-along clears up quickly? And that my anxiety level stays low while it does? Thanks!

Definitely praying, Charlotte. One exercise I do that gets that hitch out (sometimes) is to lay on the floor at a wall corner - mine is between my living room and hallway. I lay one leg flat on the ground, hugging the wall with my leg and my bottom bumping the wall. The other leg I straighten on the wall as best as I can. I do this for each leg, 30 seconds each...or longer if I can. I hope this makes sense!

Well, I made it to the pool with the kids as I had promised them and thought that the water might help. I don't think it did. Angie, are you saying that you have one leg going up the wall while the other is on the floor? Would I keep the leg with the painful hip on the floor or would that be the one to stretch on the wall?

Yes, that's what I'm trying to say . I do both. I start with the least painful position then do the other side. My goal is to get my hips back into alignment. I never do this if it is TOO painful - don't force it - but on a few occasions (not always) I have literally "popped" something back in place (sorry if that's TMI!) I got this stretch from a posture book I own. Hope you feel better soon.
