You know, we have yet to receive an email. I only knew the scores were on the website because of an email from her teacher.
Shouldn't they have let her/me know via email that the scores are available?

I never received an email either, and only found out they were available here.
We are not celebrating, however. Zach is very disappointed in his SAT scores. This poor kid.
His brother barely studied for them, and is not even as smart as his brother (by his own admission, though I'm not so sure), he's definitely more lazy than his brother, and he got 200 more points on English/Math, and 300 more points on all three together.
Poor Zach studies and prepares, and tries SO hard, is SO bright (you should hear him analyze and discuss history), and ends up doing pretty poorly on his SATs. My heart is just breaking for him tonight, as he struggles further with this vision learning problem.
The one bright spot is that his essay, for his first try was the same as his brother's was the first time he took it. With some work, I know we can get that score up.
I just feel so sad for Zach tonight, and wish I could take the disappointment away. Of ALL kids I know (and I know a lot), he is the one that deserves to struggle with this the least.
Like always, we'll just have to work really hard over this summer to try to improve it for October. Ugh.

I am so sorry, Tracy. I was wondering how he had done....poor guy.
Tracy, does he HAVE to take the SATs? Is there somewhere he really wants to go where he HAS to have them?
If yes, then it might be worth hiring a private tutor to work and encourage him...maybe barter with someone.
If no.....can he just go two years to a JC or CC and get an associate degree and then transfer to a 4 year school?
You know, I have known you for so long, maybe even before ccm and I feel like I have been along with you for his education, at a far distance, of course...but my heart is breaking for you and him in your disappointment. I know God will use all of this for good for his futrue, whatever it maybe...as painful as it is now.
love and for mama and son,
