I have been a member here for 2.5 years and during that time I have watched as you lovely ladies have lived out your faith in your homes and taken on the responsibility of teaching and the carrying on of your Catholic faith yourselves.
Many of you know that I grew up Catholic but left the Catholic church in 1998. I grew up in a wonderful family unfortunately they left the teaching only up to the church and the school that I attended. It was never something that was made personal for me nor did I see the need to accept Jesus and my PERSONAL Savior and committing my entire life to Him and His teachings.
I say all of this to say that over the last 2 years I have had such a longing and drawing towards the Church and the Sacraments. I am still struggling with some things but as I'm reading through the Catechism I feel like my eyes have been opened. Never have I seen so much Scripture or understood so much as I do now.
At this point I haven't made a decision one way or the other. I am still searching and learning and praying for the guidance of the Holy Spirit and I would love to be covered by your prayers for me as well.

I confess to you that this very intention for you has been a personal prayer of mine for almost a year now. I am rejoicing at your news, and assure you that I am continuing to pray for you on this journey. How overjoyed I imagine heaven to be at the thought of you and your longing for the truth and the Sacraments and fullness of Holy Mother Church. I have the happiest of tears  just thinking of it. And, there can be no more fitting time to beg for the guidance of the Holy Spirit than on the heels of the Feast of Pentecost (even now, we are within the Octave of Pentecost). It is all so breathtaking to me!
I rejoice in your journey home, and I continue to beg the Holy Spirit for an outpouring of graces for you!

Thank you so much for all of your heartfelt words and your prayers. It means so much to know that some of you had already been praying for me. God is faithful, His Word is everlasting and unchanging and I am believing and standing on what I read in Proverbs this morning.
My son, if you receive my words,
And treasure my commands within you,
