I will making the formal statement to the detective on Friday afternoon. I will be alone as DH will mind the children, and I feel quite nervous and don't know what to expect. Thank you for your continued prayers.

I continue to pray for all of your intentions. I lifted you in prayer especially yesterday during the Mass. You will not go in to make a formal statement alone. The entire Communion of Saints surrounds you - the Saints in Heaven, all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, and we, your sisters in Christ - all envelop you in prayer.
May Our Lady grant you the sure knowledge of her protection and guidance and tenderly bring you to the gentle embrace and peaceful gaze of her Son.

Friday went okay. The detective was a very nice lady and although it was a gruelling 2.5 hours, it was not as bad as I had feared. I was very aware that "my heavenly Mama" was with me, and that was a great comfort. I'm still all over the place emotionally, although upheld by prayer and coping better than I would on my own. I would be very grateful for prayers for my dh who is being so strong and protective.

I am having a crisis at the moment. Nothing further has really happened with the investigation, but the police officer says they can't find a record of the person at the address where the offence was committed, and I feel as if I am going mad. I went today to identify the property, and has had a very bad effect - so I have been crying hysterically and had a panic attack. Tonight is my sister's wedding rehearsal and I couldn't go; the wedding is Sunday and I want to be calm and together for her, especially as she has no idea what is going on and won't understand why I couldn't go tonight, and my reaction is upsetting for my parents who do understand. Dh and the children have also seen me very upset and that is stressing them out. I would really really appreciate prayers for calm and peace and to be able to "shut the door" on this until after the weekend.
