praying for your family. we are in the same sitution now and dh hours are cut to 16 hours starting next week, no idea how long that will be. so I'm asking prayers for our family too.

My husband and I are talking about home schooling high school ourselves, without the help or the price of MODG. I've made this decision before and then hid in the comfort zone of following MODG from a distance. But I found out in the process that there are several things I don't like about their approach. So ... though this will take a load off financially, I'll still need prayers that I can do what is right for my children.

The house needs renovation, particularly the kitchen. But we'll have to complete that in bits and pieces, as we are endowed with money.

We're trying to keep on a $200 per week budget for groceries. This will help us put extra money toward the bills that have piled up. I'm going to list money-saving techniques on my blog every now and again as I think of them. Tonight's the first edition!
