OK, prayer warriors, I need you.  I just found out a few hours ago I'm pregnant, and I'm thrilled and terrified.
My last pregnancy ended with an emergency c-section at 26 weeks due to severe pre-eclampsia. Now-3.5yo Maggie is happy, healthy, and beautiful, but she had a rough start, and it took over a year for my blood pressure to come back down.
Please pray for our baby, for me to not panic -- definitely not good for my blood pressure  -- for strength and peace for dh (who is ecstatic, but a little worried), and for a healthy, as-close-to-full-term-as-possible pregnancy. Thank you!
P.S. For anyone reading this who knows me IRL, we've told Grace, but not the boys or Maggie yet. We're hoping to wait until I'm a little further along...

Congratulations Wendy! I will ask St Gerard for his faithful intercession. I always ask for: a healthy pregnancy, safe delivery and quick recovery for me and baby with no complications, easy and long breastfeeding and an easy transition into the family.
I think I pretty much cover it all

Congratulations Wendy,
Have you considered trying the high protein diet that's supposed to help prevent eclampsia? Is that Dr. Brewer? I know the site is http://www.blueribbonbaby.org

Oh, Wendy! You're in good company with your feelings at the beginning of your pregnancy...I experience about 30 seconds of sheer, unadulterated bliss...and then full panic sets in along with a frantic mental checklist for preparations. My pregnancies are in no way relaxing or easy. So, I'm praying for you with alot of empathy!!!!
I will pray for the health of this pregnancy and for your own peace. May Our Lady cover you in her mantle, protecting you from thoughts of unnecessary worry or angst and may the Holy Spirit fill you with fortitude for the road ahead! God bless you and this little one, Wendy!

I do know how you feel, Wendy...pregnancy is never, ever easy for me......big complications it seems. BUT....God is good...very, very good, and He holds you in the palm of His Hand with every single breath you take, He loves you, He made this precious baby...Hold onto your Rosary when anxiety strikes, and repeat "Jesus I trust in You!!"
