Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It helps me to have some activities planned so that the kids don't resort to playing wii and watching TV all the time. I don't mind them play Wii or watching TV but I want a nice balance of outside and inside activities.

I understand that, Natalia.
So far we've had two park days. This weekend was absolutely beautiful. We had family over and Mark made a duck stew and the children played a lot of soccer and baseball in the yard w/ friends and cousins.

What I've done this summer is allowed them to sleep in as late as they wish and have computer time & TV time in the mornings while I do my work.

Then the day begins. We do errands or math or reading then the children can do what they want...as long as it's constructive or physical. We're still having dance classes (recital isn't until the end of June).

So far I haven't had any problems. Of course, we've only had one week of summer vacation.
