On Friday morning my almost 8 year old son will have his transplanted kidney removed. Sometime this fall we will hopefully doing another living donor transplant but until then he will be on dialysis at home every night.
The graces flowing on him have been almost palpable.
Please pray for our extended family. I am really tired and trying to manage everything, but there are other challenges I am facing with our extended family that pull me from my focus on Josh and his needs. I'm trying really hard not to be resentful. All involved are in need of prayers.

Praying Holly! You have walked a tough road, and should make sure you stop to take care of yourself in this process. The parents and in-laws thing I'm sure makes a tense situation worse. I'm praying for grace, strength, and courage for you.

Oh, Holly, I am so sorry for the grandparents......I will pray especially hard for you and for them.
And, of course, for your son.......I will remember him in our daily prayers.

Praying for you and your precious family!! Easier said than done, but try to take care of yourself, too. It is hard enough just to manage day to day life with all the little ones, and a newborn, and precious little Josh. The family issues are soooo hard to add onto an already full plate, and I think sometimes the devil tries to divide immediate families in difficult times, with these kind of extended family problems. Praying for strength for your family and marriage, and that your family will have "oasis moments" in the midst of this difficult time for you.
O Blessed Mother, spread thy mantle over this dear family, uphold them, and keep them close they heart, and thy Son!
