There was encouraging news at the Caring Bridge site this morning. Keep praying!

I think many of us who have been homeschooling a long time--from way back when Catholic options were scarce--recognize that Jessica Hulcy is a pioneer in the homeschooling movement as we know it. She is a passionate crusader for real learning and reaching the hearts of children as well as their minds. She's also an informative and entertaining speaker who will be sorely missed on the summer conference circuit this season. Her voice is one of encouragement and commission.

As an aside, there was to be a wedding in Jessica's immediate family just ten days from the day of her accident. Whisper a little prayer for the bride and groom who now will wait a little longer to begin their life together?
