We are flying to Virginia for my nephew's wedding this Wednesday. All 4 of our kids are in the wedding. Then we are driving to Columbus, OH for job interviews and house-hunting. Then back to VA for family visiting time. Dh has to head back here to WA early for work and the kids and I are staying another week with my family. It will be a 3 week trip all together. I'd love to meet up with any of you living in NOVA!!!
Please pray for safe flights and no illness. 
Please pray the wedding goes well. Rachel and Hannah are flower girls and I really don't think Rachel is going to walk down that aisle.  She is extremely shy.
Please pray dh can get a good job offer and we can find a nice home. He's retiring from the Air Force in August and we are so stressed out! I thought we'd be so excited about retiring but really it's kind of scary. After 25 years, military life becomes all you know and leaving it feels very strange.

Lisa, we'll be happy to pray for you.
James is also retiring; the ceremony is in one month.  We still don't know where we'll wind up, but he is being eerily calm about the transition. It's starting to freak me out because he has always been the planner while I fly by the seat of my pants. I've always expected him to be there to catch me, but now I'm wondering if I'm the one to do the catching this time. 
Anyway transition and travel prayers coming your way.

Thanks for all the prayers. We had a great time. The girls did FANTASTIC as flower girls. I was quite amazed!
My dh was offered a great job in Columbus Ohio and we found a wonderful home! We're so excited. Leaving Washington will be very bitter-sweet however. We've been here 6 years and will miss our friends so much but being near family is where we need to be.
It was so, so nice to meet Maryan and Ruth while on this trip as well! Ruth and I have talked on the phone and I was just so thrilled to meet her in person!
Maryan and I share a unique connection. Her family lives on the farm my grandfather worked on while I was growing up. I'm from the town she lives in and my brother lives just a couple miles away! Small world!
Maryan, it was so great to finally meet you face to face!
For those I missed meeting while in NOVA....I'll be back many, many times for visits with my family now that we'll be closer and I'm so looking forward to meeting you next time.
Loren, any news on where you're headed yet? You've been on my mind so much! It's such a hard transition isn't it?
