It is with great sadness for one of my dearest friends, that I beg these prayers.
Some of you may remember she had asked for prayers for her father's health......and all seemed okay.......yet, this morning the sad news came.....he passed away this morning, unexpectedly.
Being unexpected does make it all the more painful.
A few specific requests:
.....for Clare, she was to spend ten days with her grandparents next week in Alaska.....and this is especially painful.
.....for Liam as he finishes up his finals at TAC and graduates this weekend.
......for Paddy & Aidan, they are so young and this sorrow is strange to them
......for Willa's mom....she and her husband were a very close couple.....
......for the rest of the family, of course........her other children and husband, and Willa's brothers and their families
And, could you please MOST ESPECIALLY offer a MEMORARE for Willa's dad's soul? He was a Christian, and a good man, but not Catholic.......and Willa has been praying so hard and so long for his conversion......she feels this loss most painfully. Could you please pray that Memorare for her peace as well?

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Thank you so much for covering my friend, and your friend, in these prayers. You are all so dear.

Oh, Willa - just reading Chari's sad news...I'm so deeply sorry for the loss your family now faces.
I pray for your family's comfort. I pray especially for the repose of your father's soul. I entrust all of you to the great ocean of Mercy given so generously by Our Lord.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
I join Caroline in offering a novena of Memorares on behalf of your father's soul. May the Holy Spirit pour out the gift of fortitude for you especially as you face all the practicals that must now be considered and acted upon quickly. I am so very sorry! We will most certainly pray for Willa and her entire family and for the repose of her dear father's soul. We had a good scare here over the weekend with my father and his heart so Willa's intentions are very close to my heart right now and will continue to be.
Willa, I love you and will hold you in my prayers. You are such a blessing to all of us!
