I just heard from Marilyn. Anna's doing great - she's still on the inside.   Marilyn's contractions are pretty strong, and coming every 3 minutes, but the baby is doing fine and so is mom, so the doctor is content to wait this little girl out.
Marilyn is thinking she'll be heading home tonight, but hasn't heard anything certain yet.
So, there's relief that all is well...but with contractions coming so close and so hard it's difficult to discern when to go in.
Help me continue to wrap Marilyn and Anna in prayer for the next couple of weeks.
May Our Lady give Marilyn shelter and protection from all confusion and worry under her mantle, and may Marilyn experience great peace as Anna grows under the watchful care of the Giver of Life.
Good St. Anne, intercede for them both.

Thank you everyone for the prayers. I was in the hospital all afternoon - baby is doing fine and although I am having the worst back labor and cramping, I am not dilating past 1cm. I am only at 36 weeks and so we are would prefer to just go into labor naturally rather than go for any intervention at this stage. So I am home - either to labor or for the contractions to pass and hang on to my induction date of May 26. Please pray for me to be able to offer up the discomfort and for baby to be safe and to be born when the time is right.
I so appreciate all the prayers.

I was able to go to the chapel tonight and pray the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet for you and baby, in front of the Tabernacle. I still think you did the right thing.....we never got upset by mamas (especially mamas who had delivered a lot of babies) coming in to get checked.....you did the prudent and wise thing. Rest, rest, rest....I think this was just a test drive

Just seeing this now, Marilyn. So glad you are home in your own bed tonight. Those hospital beds really aren't conducive to rest!  Keep that little Anna tucked right where she is for now. I'll be praying for you both.
