Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Jennifer,

I've had PF a few times and what helped me was nightly foot massages from DH. He would massage right at the base of the heel and into my arch. It was painful but I used an ice pack after. He only had to do it 4-5 nights in a row for pain relief. Just thought I'd throw that in to the conversation.

I have only had the "mock" crocs from Target. I finally had to throw them out after two or three years of use. The treads had worn so smooth that they were a terrible slipping hazard. I put out my knee more than once slipping on the wet concrete of our garage floor.

Are the real Crocs any better? Do they hold up longer? I have bought some of the real crocs in the mary jane style for my girls and one of them has had the heel and top strap both snap after only four months. I am wary of spending more money on these, though they are very good for around the house and quick slip on shoes.

I also have a lot of heel pain. Around the house I wear a pair of Reebok slip ons ALWAYS. Otherwise I pay for it later. My feet always feel best after a hot shower. Stretching and foot massage helps too. :)

pineapple has antiinflammatory properties and could help and wouldn't be contradicted like ibuprophen is.

of course they haven't studied it for maternity or infant use.. but the pertinent enzyme (bromelain) there was not an amount that was toxic.. so I eat pineapple when pregnant and especially after labor ;) (bromelain caps, pinapple juice etc) it helps sooooo much.
