We left off here.
Yesterday, the day after the Feast of the Annunciation, we became licensed by Arizona to foster-to-adopt! After almost fifteen months of waiting, we are eager and ready to move forward with God’s plan for us, whatever that may be. We have entrusted all of our past to Divine Mercy and entrust the future to His Divine Providence. I feel as if I’m heading into the third trimester of a very long pregnancy:). I’ve been fluctuating between on fire nesting and ditzy can’t concentrate behaviors. Pray Dave and the kids can survive my antics! Thank you for your support and many prayers on our behalf. We thank God for helping us through almost endless human obstacles and for bringing our family closer to Him during this challenging time. Please keep us in your prayers and pray especially for all of our children, known and not yet known to us.
In one of the last emails to arrive yesterday about our case, the following line was included by a state worker, "Thank you for your unending patience with this process..." I'm pretty sure that means I have unending patience, officially  .

There are some children in Arizona whose lives became infinitely better this week and they don't even know it yet. God is so good!

Heaven is certainly leaving you blessed little signs with that news on a beautiful 'life giving' feast day!!
Yes, like going into the third trimester...I think you said something important there, this love for children and commitment to life you are making is following the emotional steps of pregnancy in a way, it's all in God's perfect timing for you all.
Angie, I am so very happy for you, you have 'fought the good fight' and tackled everything coming your way with grace and perserverance as only you can, God bless you for it!
We're looking forward to your journey ahead as much as you are. I'll remember you especially at Mass tomorrow morning that the good news you so dearly hope for will not be too far away now!
