if I could selfishly ask for a few extra prayers: my sister who lives here in town is also due Thanksgiving Day. (we would have been due together)
I am watching my little nephew right now while they get an early sono.
I'm just so afraid I will fall apart when they get back.
(we did not tell them we were expecting)

Lisa - this is such a heavy, heavy cross you are bearing. Remember, even Our Lord fell under the weight of the cross. If you lose it, I know your sister will open her arms and heart to your pain and understand.
I also understand the very real desire to be alone with the pain for awhile...is your husband home? Can you be unavailable - shower?? - when she arrives?
I know the pain of seeing a little one arrive at the same time you were hoping to hold yours but instead have offered that precious little one back to God. Truly, Lisa, this is a hidden stigmata, and a very painful one to live with.
I am praying for you dearest, Lisa. I'm flooding heaven with my prayers on your behalf and on behalf of this beloved little one.
