I am asking prayers for my family. My husband Matt was diagnosed with leukemia last Wednesday. He has been through chemo and is suffering greatly. In addition, we have 7 children ages 13 to 15 months. I am trying to take one day at a time, but I feel scared and overwhelmed at times. Please pray, that through the intercession of St. Joan of Arc, we all have courage and perseverance in this great battle.

Matt's bone marrow biopsy came back clean! He should be home by the middle of next week. At this point, the plan is to do another biopsy in 2 weeks and start chemo when we get these results back. He will receive 4 rounds of outpatient chemo over the next 6 months with biopsies after each one. Thankyou to everyone for your kind words, support, and especially prayers. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for your prayers. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as this is just the first round of a long battle.

I will certainly pray for your husband, for you, and for your family throughout this trial. Please, please come to us again if you need more prayers at any time!
I'm sending some prayers your way as well...I'd be buckling if my strong husband were going through this...praying that God will grace you with the supernatural strength and joy needed to get through this for the long haul! And, of course, praying that the Divine Physician will offer healing to your dear husband. May Our Lady wrap her mantle of tender protection around your entire family right now!
