Praying for your aunt.
Reading the story sent chills down my spine as I know a homeschooling mom this happened to a few years back, except she died leaving 5 children.
Thanks be to God she's going to be fine!

Praying for your Aunty Mary, Anne. It's scary having big farm equipment around - one of my fears is that someone will get hurt.
Blessings,

Oh Anne, I know you must feel complete relief with the knowledge she is safe. I am sure her Angel was working overtime. Praying for a full recovery.

Maddie, that is so sad to hear of the lady with 5 children who died ...it is just so amazing that Aunty Mary has no broken bones..she is very badly bruised though..
My aunty is slowly recovering, the CAT scans are showing that everything is stable, no worsening of her condition. When we saw her a few nights back she was very sleepy and had short term memory problems, maybe like a severe concussion??
I am very appreciative for all the prayers so far, with these sort of accidents you still worry that they might not be out of the woods, due to the bleeding on the brain. God willing she will be home soon.

2nd UPDATE: I saw my aunty today, she arrived home yesterday and we dropped in alot of home cooked meals as we sense this is still going to be a long haul for her.
She is having troubles with the right side of her face, finally her right eye is now closing at night time but there is a stiffness in her face, you can see she has definately suffered a brain trauma!
She still has this big hole in her head, she did fracture her skull BTW, I didn't realise..she is very wobbly on her feet and HUGHLY emotional, many, many tears. I think this can be what happens with brain injuries and also she knows she has a big, long road ahead of her to normality which God willing will be the case in time.
She was so very grateful for all the prayers here, I think that she is still in need of them, my heart breaks to see her cry so! She is a very loving lady who has been given a very heavy cross at present.

Prayers will continue for as long as she needs them! Thank goodness she's home from hospital.

AussieAnnie:
Continued prayers for your aunt. Traumatic brain injury is so frightening and there are lots of unknowns for quite some time. Before I knew them, my dh brother was in a coma for months but recovered and regained more than anyone would have imagined. He has been very active with some various TBI chapters and they give lots of info. Don't know what is available in your area, but it might be worth looking into.
I do remember reading that intense emotional expression and anger are often side effects of the injury not fully under the control of the person initially. It is certainly a huge stress on the person and there are some aspects of their lives that will never be the same and a period of adjustment - even when there isn't much obvious to other people.
Of course we will continue to pray and hope that the Divine Healer takes care of all those things that medicine and time don't and for peace for your aunt as she begins to process everything that has happened and deals with limitations (even though we hope and pray these are extremely temporary and short lived). Your aunt sounds like she was very active and used to taking care of things so being slow on her feet has got to be frustrating.
Janet

Janet thank you for those words and your prayers. Yes, there is an association in our state, I will have to pass the info onto her.
I remember an another aunt who fell of a chair and knocked her head very hard years ago and she said that she was very teary for weeks after, for no apparent reason. So it sounds there is a connection there.
