Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We just had SaraP's pasta and bean soup. At least two of the six of us did. We loved it!

Wednesday, we tried Kyra's peanut noodle sauce. It was too spicy for everyone here in the proportions she gave, but the flavor was really good. I asked my husband if he would eat it without as much of the Sriracha sauce. He said it might be good if the peanut butter taste wasn't so strong. That's what I have to put up with around here.

I am looking forward to trying some of these other recipes, too. I have to go back and find that French bread pizza in this week's thread.

Sorry it was too hot for you! Try considerably decreasing the Sriracha, and use a lot more broth and some more soy sauce. Does your husband like sesame? You could substitute some tahini for some of the peanut butter.

We're having peanut noodles and some random roasted veggies for dinner tonight.
