Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

As I'm missing my husband terribly today during his Week 2 of hospital rounds, I am thinking of Nancy's (Guitarnan's) advice on making a Care Page but after using Google to find "where" and "types" out there, would anyone have any personal experience with this to pass along to me? I might just opt to make/create a new blog.

I've just knelt to pray for my hubby myself because he endured a round of CT scans and more blood testing this am (has a rare type), and was just heading for a lecture after his morning breathing exercises and workout routine with his physiotherapists. The lecture will focus on stress management to cope with a degenerative lung disease which could be fatal. Oh, my heavy heart hurts and my head feels a bit drained here. I think I'm off to make a cuppa something comforting and to read a couple of blogs before the next three building trades appear and the children complete their schooling for the day.

Please know, even in our darkest hours here, my hubby and I have resolved to always keep the prayer intentions on the 4Real boards in our hearts, in our morning offerings and at the foot of the altar. Just as a friend chastised me NOT TO WASTE my labour while child birthing, my hubby is constantly reminded not to do the same. And he's good at offering up his days just like i am.

God bless you all...with hugs (I am a hugger, hope you don't mind...LOL ''
