Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have some salmon - would love some new recipes or ideas for cooking it differently than just plain ole salmon.

I mix 1/4-1/2 cup of soy sauce and the same amount of sugar. Then I add 1/2 tsp. ground ginger and 1/2 tsp. garlic powder. I marinade the salmon in this for about 30 minutes. The I bake it for 10-15 minutes. When I bake it, I toss in the pan with it a can (drained) of pineapple chunks. Every here loves it.

We are having homemade "left-over" soup for dinner...otherwise known as...what is left in my refrigerator and needs to be eaten before it turns into a science project!

As for a salmon recipe, it sound unusual, but tastes delicious:

Place salmon in aluminum foil and cover with maple syrup and teriyaki sauce or soy sauce. Close foil and bake...it is delicious.

Hoping all of you have happy dinners!

Peace.

We ended up having the Ranch Chicken, with Crulsty Potatoes, corn, cheese muffins, and some no-bake cookies.
