You may remember this recent prayer request for a mum who had miscarried and had complications.
Nicole has now faced another serious crisis with her youngest child who is two. He had this vomiting thing going around down here and his bowel twisted. He needed surgery and they removed a portion of his bowel as well. 
Today the hospital had him on ice chips and then tried to give him water - he promptly started vomiting again.
I can't imagine the stress and worry for this family. We are hoping and praying this little chap, Asher, makes a full recovery with no more bowel twisting incidents. That he will get back on fluids and solids and be ok.
Any prayers for this dear little boy (he only turned two in late December) are greatly appreciated!!
UPDATE:
Today the hospital tried Asher with some jelly and icecream but he vomited it up again. This is all a serious worry, he is not out of the woods with everything while he vomits this way. Please continue those prayers for him!
2nd UPDATE: Asher is still in great need of prayers...nothing has significantly changed, he has not really improved. His tummy goes hard when water and soft solids are given, he has had to have the contents of his stomach removed..there seems to be no action with his bowels..this little boy has suffered greatly..
3rd UPDATE: I have heard today that Asher has turned a corner, he is eating and his bowels are working - A BIG thank you for those prayers, though they are still needed, in order that this little boy continues to move forward in his recovery and gets home.
FINAL UPDATE: Asher is home!!! Nicole is very tearful and joyful. She knows how close things were for him and what could have happened. She was so very grateful when she heard of all the prayers being offered from here, she really believes his recovery turned in a very startling way, which she attributes to prayer.
