No, Cindy. Mom and Dad are in Tennessee.

The Bishop offered Mass there at St. Lawrence for them this morning. There is no word on the recovery. Apparently there has been a rash of gang-related robberies in the area of late. This is not an urban area, but a very close-knit rural community so this comes as a surprise and is quite worrisome as there are a number of older folks living alone in this community.

I passed along your prayers to mom, and she is so very grateful. They are all struggling to understand and deal with this blow. It was a very old parish and many beloved things were taken from the Sacristy as well as the Tabernacle with the Blessed Sacrament. This community is truly hurting right now. Thank you for all of your prayers.
