Oh, Paula, you are really getting hit from all sides! I will offer my day for you, your husband, his employment, and your marriage... you have so much to bear right now. If you and your husband pray together, can I suggest you commit to placing your marriage under the protection of St. Michael the Archangel? My husband and I did this when we hit a rough patch a few years ago and we committed to praying this prayer together each morning... I truly feel it has helped us keep in mind who it is that takes pleasure in seeing families fall apart, and our need to do battle with him each day! Even if your husband doesn't join you, you can still do this on your own.

It's gotten worse instead of better.
My husband is so bitter that he wrote a terrible email to the attorney. I understand his frustration, and I also know that our email program is set up to automatically send and receive every 10 minutes. He hadn't moved the email into the drafts folder, so the email was sent.
She read it.
I received her withdrawal letter today. So did the judge and the other attorney.
I (we) don't have money for a retainer, our county doesn't offer legal aid, and it is a civil case so no public defender.
I'm really hurting right now.

Praying for you and your dh, Paula. You two are going through so much together. The circumstances you are under would bring anyone to their wit's end. Please be gentle with each other and I'll pray mightily for your intentions.
I know you all don't need one more thing on your plate, but please do consider putting yourself out there in your community to find legal, emotional, and spiritual support. You really deserve local help and care through this ordeal. God will provide...and may He do so quickly .
