Just reading all the updates Sue, I am so pleased your father has come through all of this so well and I pray that he will continue to make a stella recovery and your time with your mum will be peaceful and enjoyable.

Thank you all.
Two of the children and I went to a diocesan Alzheimers seminar last Saturday. It was eye-opening and somewhat scary. We're getting alarms for the outside doors so my mom won't escape while we're sleeping...this happened to some at the conference- one elderly man slept on the floor so his wife couldn't wander off during the night.

Mom has impulsively left her house before when she mislaid her special rosary and knocked on neighbors' doors frantically trying to find it.

On a positive note, my dad is recovering beautifully!

I would also appreciate prayers for a prolife fundraiser we're hosting in our home on December 20th... (too late to change the venue)....that everything will go smoothly with my mom (one of our boys is taking her out that evening).
I appreciate the prayers so much!
