Mom took Peter james to the Doctor today for his check up He thinks that he could have a hernia so Mom and Dad are taking him to the Hospital we are asking for prayers and we will keep you updated

Update:
Thank you all so much for your prayers. I was sent with the baby right away from my well-baby appt. to the Ped. Emergency Room 45 min away in Morristown. He had been crying quite a bit all morning which was not like him at all...it even sounded different. The doctor was concerned that Peter was in pain from his bowel getting caught as (as we just found out) he has a hernia and at that time it could not be pushed back into place. They determined that it was not an emergency as they are able to push things back into position. Unfortunately my little 5wk old will need surgery within the next week or so. Good thing is, he has a WONDERFUL dr that cares about him (and his concerned parents too) Please keep us in our prayers. I HATE the idea of an infant having to endure surgery.

We're praying for little Peter here - and for his Mama, Papa and sibs. Goodness sakes, it really is hard to imagine a little one having surgery - I can empathize.
