If you could magically order ANY DESSERT that exists, what would it be?

My absolute favorite is:

1. TIRAMISU

Then:

2. Creme Brulee and.....
3. Cheesecake

Honestly? Sarah Lee strawberry cheesecake!
Then my mom's pumpkin pie!

My dad actually sells gourmet desserts, but I have pretty plain tastes. I will take Toll House cookies or Breyer's Mint Chocolate chip any time!

Ohhh, I have a good friend that brings us dinner after each baby, and my husband teases that we keep having babies just to get another of Keith's wonderful desserts! After MB was born, he brought us a Creme Brulee - OH MY that was the best thing I have ever tasted! :)

I'm a simple girl who LOVES chocolate chip cookies and these peanut butter bars. How can you resist peanut butter and chocolate together??

Peanut Butter Bars

INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
4 tablespoons peanut butter

DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, mix together the butter or margarine, graham cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
In a metal bowl over simmering water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter, stirring occasionally until smooth. Spread over the prepared crust. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares. YUMMY

cannoli

hands down

since childhood

but the texture and ingredient ratios needs to be perfect!...light crispy shell, filling of ricotta and just enough sweet, tiny chocolate chips, no candied fruit, and (when life is good) the ends dipped in pistachio...somewhere a hint of cinnamon, vanilla, and Marsala wine...

Love,

A glass of really, really nice red wine, and a piece (or 3) of really, really good chocolate. Chocolate truffles are a favorite.

If I can't have that, then give me cheesecake (and coffee...with cream).

Peach Cobbler, served warm, with Vanilla icecream

My second "fave" would have to be warm, homemade brownies with vanilla icecream.

And in the summer I love a good rootbeer float.

Cheesecake, for sure! I also love a good berry crisp with ice cream.

Molly, I've heard this before. I have a friend whose sister is a pastry chef and she prefers a simple Choc Chip cookie and ice cream.

Yes. If you were standing in front of 3 tables with a 100 different desserts on them, and could only pick ONE or TWO, what would you pick?

Now THAT's a serious ice-cream-lover.....when you have a favorite brand!

I LOVE cannolis! But, you're right...they have to be PERFECT! You can really mess up a cannoli. And, nothing can be more tragic!

We always get a cheesecake for my birthday, instead of cake. The kids know mom doesn't like "real cake."

MY favorite dessert is also TIRAMISU !
However, this baby of mine hates chocolate and nearly all forms of dairy.

The only desserts I've been able to have without feeling sick this pregnancy is peanutbutter cookies and cherry pie a la mode. She loves cherry pie with french vanilla ice cream. I tell you it's almost like she curls up in there humming for joy when I eat that.

Mine:

Baked Hot Chocolate

or

Filipino Leche Flan

or, what I've got as my avatar -- Boca Negra (literally, Black Mouth) with Raspberry Sauce and Bourbon Cream

Any of those three things will make me VERY happy even if it's just a bite -- a large one

I have to choose? Okay, I will try.

In the ice cream department, I am with Lisa and the Vanilla Bean Ice Cream from Blue Bell (which unfortunately is not available in Wales).

I also love cannoli, but alas have never made it myself!
My new favorites are tiramisu and creme brulee (alas, I have not tried to make these either!

And if I am baking, it is pumpkin cheesecake or home made brownies (which everyone over here loves).

And Stef, I have not tried your recipes but they definitely have potential!

Gotta go. Children need me.

So much depends on mood.

I think that grasshopper ice cream pie covers a lot, lol. Chocolate, mint, ice cream, whipped cream, etc...

Sometimes there is nothing like a great slice of apple pie.

And all of those superduper triple chocolate things are hard to resist.

I rely on the tactic of being able combine great desserts into one so its like not having to choose.

Yk, the scoop of vanilla bean ice cream that comes with the apple pie or brownie.

The fudgy sauce that comes with berries on cheese cake or with whipped cream and pound cake.

Or ice cream with everything crunchy, chocolate, malted, or peanutbuttery in it.

Afterall, why should I have to choose just one
