Thank you so much for the prayers.

A quick update: I went along to the 2nd hospital today for dd to be reviewed by the paediatricians there. When I turned up, though, I was told that I'd been given the wrong time and the clinic was over So I'd dragged four children across London on the Underground for nothing!

We've got to go back on Friday. Meanwhile, dd is happy as Larry, climbing and swinging -- I think those prayers are doing something

Update: we went back to the Fracture Clinic on Friday. They were extremely professional and just treated dd's arm instead of launching into an offensive probe into our family life. They couldn't see a fracture but suspect that there may be something small that isn't visible on the x-ray. So we've to keep an eye on it but basically all is on the mend.
