Thanks everyone. His next appointment related to all this is Tues. morning. From what we've been reading, even if it is cancer, the kind they described it possibly being ("well-differentiated liposarcoma") is not at all likely to end up with him having to receive debilitating treatment over weeks/months and then dying shortly thereafter anyway.

Thanks ladies. My brain is a little fuzzy right now but my impression is that the appointment was a bit on the reassuring side overall, and especially about the likelihood of it being liposarcoma, although we've now heard other concerning stuff to "rule out" along with that. My husband needs to have bloodwork ASAP and then a needle biopsy not long after that, but at least he's not facing actual surgery right away, if at all.

I had a lipoma on my right index finger several years ago. Really wacky. When I went on chemo (about 2 yr. after the lipoma) for my PA, the lipoma disappeared and never came back.

I'll pray that all will be well!
