Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Well it does have a whole egg in it, so that makes it breakfast food right?

ROFL! That reminds me of the Bill Cosby bit where he rationalizes giving the kids chocolate cake for breakfast cuz it has flour, eggs, milk,... "Dad is great, he gives us the chocolate cake!"

Once again, I needed to re-find the recipe, and I thought, "What's the use of indulging if I can't tempt others to join me."

And now Carole just asked me for it on FB, so I'm bumping. LOL. Sadly I have been microwave-less for 2 years now.

I just wanted to share this version that might be helpful for those dealing with food allergies cake in a cup I made this for my dd who suffers from a ton of allergies. I used oat flour, I used just plain water in place of the "milk" (dd has no safe milk), and 1 Tbl ground flax seeds + 3 Tbl water heated for 30 seconds in the microwave in place of the egg replacer and 2 Tbl water. It turned out beautifully and dd loved it! I love that it is so easy and this will probably be her birthday cake
