You are all such wonderful friends and so dear to me! Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. My children have been so good to me today, surprising me with special presents. Dh sent beautiful flowers and a package that arrived perfectly timed. We'll just blow over the dead car battery.
We try to go to the zoo on my birthday. It makes us all happy. And my children too keep asking, so are we going to the zoo?????? And is everyone coming with us???? Name the Friday and we will be there  .

I have to ask...Mary Chris is kind of an unusual name. Mary Beth or Mary Lou come to mind first. Is it short for Mary Christine? Would you mind sharing the story behind your name if there is one?

Not really a story, it is short for Mary Christina, the names of my grandmothers. Most people ask if I was born near Christmas.

And, Malachy called her Mary Christmas while we were visiting. 
Happy Birthday, my friend!
Any Friday will do for me, excpet tomorrow. 
And, I hope you do not mind if I give you the same gift as Bridget. 
Oh, and one more thing........we had a dead battery this week, too.

I missed wishing Mary Chris a happy birthday publicly here on the forum because I was away from the computer. My youngest dd shares the same birthday and turned 2! We did, however, get to share a birthday dinner with the Beardsley clan at Moe's, so that helped to make up for the lack of a trip to the zoo.
