Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Any updates, Nissa? It all sounds so promising...and I'm so hopeful for your family! Still praying here that all works out for you all!

Looks like our offer is accepted. We have to go for financing, which is pretty involved. That's due mainly to the fact that we are seeking an Ag loan, which is similar to a commercial loan. We need to have a lot of documentation to accompany the regular application.

The wonderful news is that may have secured a contract with a bakery out of Boston to grow navy beans for their specialty pies. We may also have a raw milk contract coming in. And, we have begun to reserve CSA shares for next season.

Brian's work is also picking up - the contract that he and his partner secured with the government has extended from a 1-year to a 3-years. There are a number of other contracts in the works as well.

Now, if we could just get a few more hours in the day, we'll be fine! That, or lots of cheap or free labour.

We are feeling so very blessed. It's been a really rough few years with the business and health. Plans we'd made fell through and caused a lot of stress and disappointment. This time two years ago, we were down to $4. That's it. $4 to last heaven-knew-how-long. As it turned out, it lasted two weeks by the grace of God. Better than a Hannukah miracle.

Thank you so much for your prayers. Please keep them coming, we're not signed, sealed and delivered yet.

Blessings,
