What a precious one! Welcome little Ignatius!  Congratulations to your entire family!!!
When I was younger, I was a nanny to a little preemie named Iggy (Ignatius). That little boy is still deeply embedded in my heart!

Thank you all so much for your prayers, believe me I felt so surrounded and just knew that you were all praying.
After posting to you all that night I went to bed and woke up at 11pm with a full on contraction, I started shivering and thought I may have skipped already to transition  so I hustled dh right out the door. I wasn't yet at that stage although 2 1/2 hrs after arriving at the hospital I gave birth to our precious baby boy. I had been saying a special prayer for a short labour and 3 hrs is certainly my shortest.
I had a slight hemorrhage after delivery and that is when I could feel all your prayers. I prayed over and over the Memorare and Hail Mary's that all would be well. Thanks be to God it was. It turned out that I also had Group Strep B and Ignatius and I both had temperatures and were placed on a course of anti-biotics and therefore were kept in hospital for three days.
We are now home and very pleased to be so.
Mary G, I did indeed have Ignatius on your birthday
4 lads, was your birthday the 25th or 26th?
Mary I certainly remember that you have an Ignatius/Nate, your signature is what gave me the courage to name our baby something different. We are also planning on abbreviating to Nate if people must, I'm hoping however that we can stay with Ignatius.
Thanks for all the kind words of approval, they gladdened my heart, I have to admit that other than a couple of dear friends most family members don't care for the name. Oh well we're happy.
