My friend's son Michael has not been feeling well for the past several days. He is 9 years old and has barely eaten for those few days either.
Today they went to the doctor who sent him to the hospital for IV and testing. The doctors seem to be surprised by his symptoms and not have any ideas so far.
Please pray for him and the rest of his family (worried parents and 6 siblings).

UPDATE: Michael was sent home from the hospital on Friday and then ended up back there on Saturday. He has been diagnosed with E COLI! He is doing quite well but still barely eating and drinking. He is still in the hospital and may well be there for several more days. Please pray that no one else gets sick and that he mends quickly and without complications (this strain of e coli has the potential for kidney damage)
Update 9/27: Michael is home!!!
He will have to have his blood tested about 3 times next week but things are looking better each day. He was skinny to begin with and is still not eating close to a normal amount - he has lost weight. Please continue to pray for his full recovery. Also, he could still be contagious, so please pray for the health of the other 6 kids and their parents.

Update: Michael is still holding his own and very slowly improving. It looks like he'll be at the hospital through the weekend. Also, Kidney damage (and possible transfusions) are a risk for the next week or so. There is no way to tell if this will happen or not. Please pray not.
