Our dog got hit by a car this morning and I'm a mess. It's pretty bad. My husband rushed him to an emergency clinic...
My heart is breaking...
Please pray for our dog Gunther...that it isn't too bad.
*UPDATE*
We have our dog home now. We brought him home yesterday afternoon. We cannot get him outside to use the bathroom. We have been trying throughout the night. The vet said the best option is to have his hip replaced ($5000) Reason: That the hip can pop out very easily.(He had a dislocated hip with torn ligaments.Please pray that we have the means to do this. Money is SO tight since we are self-employed and live day to day. It has already cost us $1400. We think he may not want to move because the hip may be out already...He has a vet appointment this morning and they will x-ray.
My heart feels like it is going to fall out of my chest. I don't want to see him suffering. I know he is not a person...I can't imagine...but we love him and want to see him better.

Praying, Marianne! Our dog was hit last June. It looked bad at first but he had no lasting damage. I hope it's the same for you!

Oh, Marianne. I'm so sorry about Gunther. These things are SO hard. How are the kids handling it?
I hope he'll soon be well. I can't offer any advice - I'm the one that spent $2000 to have my cat made better. I totally understand.
I'll keep you all in my prayers. St. Francis, pray for us.
