Well, it seems to all be falling apart before it really even begins. I haven't heard from the one woman with the baby that I was concerned about, which is fine by me. But, the other little one that I thought was a certainty may not be. The grandmother is worried about the interaction between my two year old and her 13 month old. She is coming this afternoon to observe the two together (along with the rest of my crew and the 13 and 11 yr olds I am watching this week!). The two kids that are here this week are very trying as well. 
Maybe God wanted me to go through this process to help me realize that there is no "easy" money and that perhaps my energy is better spent trying to be frugal.
On another note, my computer died and I no longer have access to my Quicken files. Could you offer a quick St Anthony prayer that I can find the Quicken disk to load on my dh's computer and that he can at least get the files off of my computer.
One more request while I have your ear (am I being greedy?), dh has been approached about a job that would solve all of our financial problems, and then some. The top salary is a ridiculously large amount. Please pray for him as he discerns if this is the right path. It is in a field that he has been out of for a while and he isn't sure that he wants to go back to it. Pray for me that I can support him in his decision process without being blinded by the money. 
Thanks ladies! Now back to baby proofing my house for the third time today!!!

Thanks so much for your prayers. The observation actually went very well, and we are still set to watch the little girl. I was afraid the grandmother was just looking for a reason to back out of it. I think now that she is just very concerned for her little charge.
The other two issues, the Quicken disc and dh's discernment, still need prayers. I will probably have to go out and buy a new disc tonight but all my data is still trapped. I feel paralyzed without it.
On a bright note, the mom of the two older children I am watching this week told me today that she wants to pay me more than the agreed amount because she knows her kids are difficult and they have gone home happy every day this week. I think they are so used to being picked on that our home is a nice respite for them.
