I'm doing well! The T-Tapp is interesting and challenging. I'll measure on Thursday and let you know how it is going. We did the long session for the first time today...phew!
Keep up the awesome work, ladies!
Love,

I am SO late joining this thread. But, well. At least I'm joining!
I'm tired of being fat and unhealthy. I gained a ton of weight when I became pregnant. Now, the "baby" is turning 3 in December. That's much too late to consider this "baby weight!"
Goals for the remainder of this month:
1. Stay on WW points
2. Exercise three times a week.
3. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Yeah, the basics. But not so basic-y for me!

I'm glad you are here, Maria. Good for you!
Good news to report about T-Tapp. In one week I gained inches where I wanted to (.5 bust and 1.75 pecs) and lost inches where I wanted to (1 ribs, 1 waist, 2 abdomen, .5 upper thighs, 1 calves) and stayed the same where I don't really care as much (lower thighs and upper arms.) My dd also gained and lost where she wanted to! We're feeling very optimistic and are eager to continue. My weight stayed about the same, it just seems that I'm moving my stuff around . Oh, and I haven't eaten as well as I usually do this week, so now I'm more eager to get off of my vacation diet and get back to better eating. It really helps to have my dd doing this with me.
Love,

well.. I've not managed a thing.. no wait.. I was doing ok getting myself weaned off the excess sugar.. and since starting that I've been sitting here like a lump and getting nothing done
And it hit me tonight at the store while I was buying more sugar because obviously trying to get off it right now is not helping me with the rest of life.. it hit me.. I've been forgetting my vitamins and often when I haven't been getting enough vitamins I will get some mild PPD.. usually manifested as the feeling too blah to move.. of course I feel that way in the heat anyway.. but hmmmm so I decided that for now I will not try and change my diet or add in exercise (other than weeding the garden) but I will try and get my vitamins every day.. then once I'm back in that habit I can try getting rid of my sugar "crutch".

Ok - while Jodie's confessing, I will too.
I started out well - and I *have* eliminated my Pepsi's. But, I started having a Nilla wafer or 5 each night after putting the big kids to bed, and it's so suffocatingly hot here I haven't been walking. Sugar and no exercise = no weight loss at all as you might expect.
Ugh.
I need to get motivated.
Ok, confession over. I firmly resolve, with the help of your prayers, to try harder next week...and apparently taking my vitamins will help, so more resolve there too.

Hi All! I haven't joined in on the conversation, but I have been reading. I have been doing WW online for 2 weeks now and this morning the scale told me that I am 6 pounds down! That is very encouraging for me and hopefully enough to get me to stick with this and get healthy. I am so thankful to have all of this support (even if you don't know it!) and to be able to support all of you. I have been saying a prayer for you all whenever I think about it during the day. I think it's great that we can all ban together like this and really take care of the bodies that God gave us.
Blessings,
Betsie

As long as we're all confessing... August hasn't been good for me either. I'm using the excuse that we have been passing a cold around for a few weeks and so I haven't slept much. On the upside, I think I have lost two pounds, though. I should probably go eat something...

I need to get back on track after Fair Week. My dc are at the fair much of the week, and dinner becomes hot dogs and ice cream, for me as well. It's very hard for me to fix healthy food when *nobody* is here for normal meals. Back on track for the start of a new week tomorrow.
Peace,
Nancy

Approximately 46 minutes, 1.38 miles today. 8 out of 16 days in August.
ETA: And a bonus walk of approximately .56 miles in 17 minutes.

I'm so happy to see new faces. It's never too late to join us.
We've been out the house every day enjoying our walks.
The scale is down, then up, then down... I'm trying not to focus on it, but I haven't kept my word to stay off the scale.
Goodness may seem silly, but my thighs are taking on a more defined shape. Still fat, but shaped fat.
Theresa...I've seen your daily reports! You've increase time and distance. Plus, went from your report of "only" where you walk 1/3 of the days up to 1/2 of the days so far this month. All with a new little one! Congratulations!

Thanks, Michaela -- I just realized the other day that my signature may be confusing now that it's August, but didn't bother changing it! She's not born yet -- I'm just kind of resistant to the concept of "due dates" so I left that word and an exact date out when I made up the signature file. She's "due" August 21 though, which happens to be our younger son's fourth birthday

That's funny. When I first saw your updates, I read your sig line the right way. For some reason, I thought I missed the birth announcement and was Still, I couldn't make it on a .25 mile walk when I was pregnant with Teresa. I called my husband, at work, telling him I thought I was gonna die! Great job!

Giving up Pepsi is a huge accomplishment! If your addiction was anything like mine, I completely get it. I stopped for the challenge, but my dh was so used to me saying I quit...he bought Pepsi and brought it in the house! ATTEMPTED SABATOGE! I didn't drink it, and because he's diabetic he couldn't....he had to take it to work for someone else to have.
Thanks for the reminders, ladies, about taking vitamins regularly. I need to do that.

Up and actually moving, still working toward inefficiency as a way to sneak in exercise. Sheets and towels changed and in the washer; showered and dressed; oatmeal for breakfast and off to take vitamins. I do so much better with structure! We'll see later in the week whether the scale confirms my sense of things!
Praying all of you through each day.
Peace,
Nancy

Hey, no one has posted anything in a week. I had a baby four days ago, so that's my excuse!

Good excuse, Theresa! I wish I could say I have one....but I don't. I'm just too addicted to sugar. I've been tracking my points online but haven't been doing a very good job at keeping to one treat a day. :( How pathetic is that? I'm still exercising though. I'll weigh tomorrow and see how things look there. Hopefully I'll be down at least a little bit.

It would be such a blessing to have your excuse. [;)
I'm still Pepsi free and get out to move every day.
The scale hates me.
I plan to continue until I reach my goals. I didn't lose 5 lbs this month, but that isn't going to stop me from improving my health. (The numb feeling down my right side hasn't returned...so, something good is happening.)

I haven't posted for happy reasons here. This topic, and the one for July, did for me what they needed to do...and I'm very thankful. These topics helped me to jumpstart my personal care and exercise, which have settled into good habit for now. I need to move onto other challenges, but if anyone ever wants to discuss T-Tapp, please PM or start a topic and make sure I see it. I love it!
My prayers continue for all of us!
Love,
