Here is an update sent out by her dh:
"Mom is getting better- spent 8.5hrs in post op room, had four more packed red blood cell transfusions and 2 plasma transfusions but no hysterectomy. Had an allergic reaction from all the fluids/medications and has edema (swelling) but is doing much better and we will all be home Sunday or Monday depending on moms hematocrit level, swelling and temperature.
All three high risk Drs. proudly delivered the babies and will be writing an article about Laura's case in the medical journals. Babies and mom all survived three very serious pregnancy complications- Placenta Previa, Vasa Previa and Cervial Varix."
All in all, Laura has had about 14 units of blood transfused since she entered the hospital with the initial bleeding in early May. I am told by my sister who is a registered nurse that that is like replacing your body's entire blood volume completely about 3 times! Amazing!
I will continue to keep you all updated as I get information. THANK YOU ALL for your faithful prayers for this family! It is truly miraculous what has happened here - a few months ago, both mom and babies were at risk of not making it to the end of the pregnancy, and now, they are all here, babies healthy and big and mom improving and not even needing the hysterectomy. Truly, truly amazing what has been accomplished here through prayer! THANK YOU ALL for your prayers and for being here. GOD BLESS YOU!
Tea

Wow Tea, wow...God is good...I'll continue to pray and offer that she will make a good recovery from her op but that is just amazing, considering the odds and original outlook.
Thank you Tea for allowing us to share in Laura's journey and pray for her.
