HI Everyone,
I found out this evening that Laura is scheduled for a C-Section on August 27th, provided she and the babies conditions remain stable. I will continue to keep you all posted. It is crucial that she not go into labor on her own before that time, in order to keep the twins and herself safe from hemorrhage. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and God bless!

Wow...praying, Tea. Thanks for keeping us updated. August 27th is my ds's Bday so I will be sure to remember your friend and her babies in my prayers especially that day.

Hi Everyone,
Tomorrow is the BIG DAY! Laura is scheduled for a C-Section tomorrow, 8/27! Please pray that she and the babies are kept safe, especially from hemorrhage, during and after delivery, and that she hopefully will not need a full (or any) hysterectomy. She is now at almost 37 weeks, and the babies are each nearly 6 lbs! This is truly a miracle, thanks to persistent prayer and the grace of God! When all of this began back in early May, Laura was told the outcome was very bleak. I cannot thank each of you enough for sharing these months or prayer with us!
I will update you all just as soon as I get any word on how Laura and the babies are doing.

I was wondering how Laura was doing...I'm so glad you let us know, Tea!! I'll be offering up and praying all day for Laura and the babies. Thanks be to God that she has carried them this far!!! What a blessing!

I have thought about and prayed for Laura so often. We will be storming heaven as the delivery approaches, and anxiously awaiting news.

Hi Everyone,
Well, the twins were born on Wed. at app. 1:15 p.m. EDT (USA) and are beautiful! The little boy wieghed in at just over 6 lbs. and the little girl weighed in at just over 7 lbs.! They did not need to spend ANY time in the NICU! Laura, on the other hand, is NOT doing well and could use our continued prayers. Apparently, in an effort to spare the uterus, the Dr. decided not to do the hysterectomy at the time of the C-Section and just "watch" Laura. Laura is NOT doing well - she is bleeding heavily, is running a fever and is also covered in that PUPP rash. It is not clear whether or not she will be having the hysterectomy in order to stop the heavy blood loss. Please keep her in your prayers, if you can, and I will update you all when I get more information.
