he has lower left abdominal pain. i just took him to the ER and left our 17-yo with him because my nausea is still unpredictable. will update as soon as we know anything.

update 7/17: Alfredo went for his follow-up today. Dr. wants a more thorough scan so he's having one at two, downtown. Please pray that we have a more thorough diagnosis soon so he can get the help he needs. He did make it through yesterday and last night with just one additional dosage of pain meds -- so I guess that's a good sign. Thank you for all your prayers...

Thanks so much for your prayers.

Drs. say it's most probably a kidney stone that's too small to show up in an x-ray, and that all he needs is lots of hydration.

I attribute this being a "small matter" to all of your prayers. God is so good!!!

Oh and dd-17 handled everything well. She's quite the trooper.

Thank you all again. I haven't been here much lately but I've been praying for all your intentions.
