Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Pam,

The kids and I all prayed together for your little boy this morning. Kyler said "Wow. 2. That's tough". Spoken by the 6 year old who got sick when he was 3. His prayers were straight from his little heart, as are mine for all of you!

Peace,

Holding you all up in prayers for sure. Take care of yourself too, as the caregiver often forgets to do that. Be assured of our prayers for your dear son and your whole family.

Leslie, God bless you and your family and little Kyler. This (of course) brought tears to my eyes! I know that Kyler's heartfelt prayer (from one who has known the pain of it all) went straight to God's ear!!

THANK YOU!

Love,

Wow - thank ALL you ladies so much for all these wonderful prayers and messages of support! I am just getting back online after the week of being in and out of the hospital and ER.

Jonathan is out of the woods (and out of the hospital). After I posted my request for prayers here, he had NO MORE DIFFICULTY getting the platelet transfusions he needed (and he went on to need about 8 more!) So I knew we were getting the miracles this discussion says to expect - in the middle of a severe blood shortage, we got all we needed.

Jonathan is now safely through the most intensive part of his first 6-months of chemotherapy. Next week, if all goes as expected, he will go into a long-term maintenance phase, which still involves chemo, but is much less toxic. It will last 3 years, and we are told we will have much more of a normal life.

I can't express what it meant to me to see all your messages here and know that such faithful women were storming Heaven for my little boy (and for me). THANK YOU truly from the bottom of my heart.

I'm so happy for the good update, Pam! Jonathan has been and continues in our prayers. As a mother, I can't imagine how hard this has been. Praying that all goes well this week.
