Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

All of them! I like to think that at the sacrament of matrimony we get a guardian angel for the family, too. Just my little theory, no dogma here, so don't quote me! But I feel we need all the helps we can get!

Oh, I can relate.

When dd1 was 5 she wanted to do the monkey bars at the park, but she was nervous. I encouraged her to do them and she fell. I felt bad and we went home...she took a nap...turned out she had broken her wrist.      I felt so bad!

Dd2 had a massive stroke while I was pregnant. I know logically it's not my fault but I still feel guilty. Then after she was born she fell asleep nursing, so I laid her on the nursing pillow on the couch to use the bathroom, and she fell off! I felt so horrible. The worst part is I didn't learn my lesson, a few weeks later I did it again!!
