While attempting to put my canning pot on the top of the cupboard today the stool I was standing on slipped out from under me. I fell on my left side, slamming my head, jaw and shoulder on to the unforgiving counter. My back feels awful, my wrist hurts from trying to catch myself and my ankle is sore from landing on it wrong. I would be so grateful for any prayers you can send my way. I am very sore and I am praying rest will cure me.
I am trying so hard to not dissolve into a puddle of whining, please pray the pain goes away and I can handle to discomfort without burdening anyone else.

I am feeling better today, thannk you for the prayers! My ankle is quite sore but my head and jaw are feeling better. Talk about a "duh" moment.  My dh is forever telling me to use a proper step stool, guess I'm not as swift on my feet at the ripe old age of 35! 
Off to take some more Motrin.

Oh, Maddie, I just saw this - praying!!! Be careful with your ankle - I hurt mine on a dig about 12 years ago - but tried not to let it bother me - and it is still messed up to this day! Hoping you feel better soon!!!
