My dad was diagnosed with Lupus in his 30s and has suffered with it ever since. He has always been a hard worker, never could sit still. But this disease is tearing his body down. He's now 64 and I see him physically getting worse every visit. He's not in the hospital at the moment but was told last week that his doctor didn't like the look of his bloodwork and wanted him to come back this week for an MRI and more bloodwork. The MRI was yesterday and we are waiting to hear.
Please pray for a good outcome. I know I'm not a child, but I am a "daddy's little girl" and the thought of losing him is still so unbearable. Thank you. I will continue to keep all your intentions in my prayers.
*Update 6/26*
Just wanted to thank you all again for the prayers for my dad. I just got news from him yesterday. He was told by his Dr. a few weeks ago that he most likely had prostate cancer. But since it wasn't 100% conclusive, he didn't tell me. He wanted to wait till it was definite. I knew something was "off" with him. He was having the tests I mentioned in my first post and was acting annoyed when I questioned him about them.
He called yesterday and said that he does NOT have cancer after all!! He had a bad infection that had some very similar symptoms to cancer. It is such a relief! I am so very thankful for all your prayers!!
I will continue to keep all of your intentions in my prayers!

I just wanted to say thanks so much for all of the prayers for my dad. They are such a comfort to me.
I haven't heard from him about any results yet. That doesn't mean he doesn't have results, though. He has this habit of "protecting" me from bad news. And so I have to ask him directly and insist he tell me the truth and not sugar coat it.
We are headed out of town today. I'll let you all know the results of his tests when I get back. In the meantime, please keep the prayers coming, if you can. Thanks so much! I really appreciate it!

Tina, you and your father have been in my prayers. My dad's health has suffered much in the past few years (though he is doing really well right now). I know how hard it is. Lupus is a terrible disease. My aunt suffered from it.
