Oh, and it has tea in it. I forgot that part. That's why it's called Mint-Orange TEA, and not Minty Orange Juice.

I like strong hot tea with milk and a lot of sugar in it. For ice tea it has to be sweet, with real sugar, no artificial sweeteners. These coffee and tea threads have made me want coffee and tea all the time

I like my tea strong, a confession - I usually never pull the tea bag out, I just let it brew and brew and brew. Isn't that awful? I might put a drizzle of honey in but never milk. I've been brewing suntea the past month or so and tossing in some of our flavored teas along with the classic Lipton tea bag. That has been fun but it is even yummier to 1/2 & 1/2 it with lemonade over a tall, tall glass of ice. So refreshing!
Does anybody else buy tea by what cute box it is in? I'm such a sucker for advertising...

Ummmm.....yes
The prettier the tin, the swirlier the writing, the more I must have it.
In the end, my summer tea drinking is just a glass of plain 'ole lipton iced tea, lightly sweetened with a squeeze of lemon. Winter tea drinking...I got hooked after buying a "pretty tin" at Williams Sonoma - Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice tea...it just smells and tastes like fall to me.

Oooh, we have a couple of Harnet and Sons "Big Red Sun" tea tins -- it was on 2-for-1 sale at a bookstore cafe, and my husband bought some. We've long since drunk up the tea, which was delicious, but still have the beautiful tins. I love tins!

I do this with herbal teas, although my mother just got me this nifty infuser basket for loose tea that you pretty much have to take out before you drink.
Hot tea needs sugar and a little milk, and iced tea needs to be barely sweet with a bit of lemon. I also like an "Arnold Palmer" - half tea, half lemonade.
ETA: Oh! and I LOVE Boston Iced Tea - half tea, half cranberry juice, with a slice of orange! (My favorite thing about eating at Red Lobster! )

Near boiling water (can't be microwaved for my picky aesthetics).
A touch of honey.
Darjeeling,
African honeybush
Licorice
Chamomile
Peppermint
Jasmine
Summertime is iced teatime! Boil up a gallon of water, throw in ten plain old Lipton teabags, 3/4 cup of sugar and let it sit for 20 minutes at least before removing teabags and refrigerating!

Ok, I'm addicted to tea .
How I drink it depends on the type:
Chinese teas (except Chrysanthamum), I drink straight - no sugar, milk or anything else.
Chrysanthamum I drink with rock sugar if I can get it.
Green tea - most of the time straight, though sometimes with a tiny bit of sugar in it.
Lipton tea - must be with a heaping spoonful of sugar and then milk added when the sugar is dissolved.
Iced Tea - must be Southern style which essentially means it is steeped, the gobs of sugar is added while it is still very hot and the ice and cold water are not added until the gobs of sugar is dissolved. When you get the last glass, sugar has settled out on the bottom. I generally don't add lemon but don't mind it. Will not deal with unsweetened tea (it just isn't the same to add the sugar later) and definitely no fake sugars.
Oh and I also am with the folks who say no microwaving.
I'm not fond of the various herbal teas, though will drink Rasberry leaf and will tolerate others if offered.
Am I obsessive about my tea? I have been drinking hot tea even in the heat of AL summer but would drink tons of iced tea all by myself if I allowed myself to make it. Not good for blood sugar swings though. (When you are the only member of the family drinking tea it is hard to justify making iced tea. Gotta have Father or some guests over for that).
Unfortunately I'm the only tea drinker in the house (well I have finally gotten a few to drink it). You'd think dh would like at least some tea with Asian ancestry, but no go. He always orders Sprite at the Chinese restaurants and guess who gets served the Sprite .

hhhhmmmm.....for just "plain old tea" everybody is saying Lipton. Does anybody else like Tetley? I like Tetley. It is just so hard to find.
On a happy note, as I was unpacking I just found the box with my favorite teapot and my ingenuiTEA.
