Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I like my coffee strong, with half & half. I usually buy Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Colombianor House Blend. I had to decaffeinate myself a few years ago, and to compensate for the lack of caffeine I try to buy really good coffee. I can buy the CB&TL coffee for $4 less at Target than it is at the CB&TL stores, which is nice. I drink it at home in a large, red Portuguese mug.

As for the rest, I only went to a junior college for 2 years (but dh has a Ph.D, so I figure he's got the degrees covered in our family); dh is Mike; I drive an inferno red Town & Country minivan; my dd is Rachel and my ds's are Peter, James and John (the Transfiguration Triplets). There, now we can be friends!

What a fun thread!

I take a little coffee with my cream and sugar. That's why I mostly drink tea, now--I really was drinking coffee *only* for the caffeine, not for the taste of the coffee itself.

I do like a slightly sweetened (shot of flavored syrup) cappuccino--but half the time at Starbucks what they call a cappuccino is really a latte with a tiny bit of foam, so I don't get one very often.

Moi aussi! There we go again!! I treat myself to one coffee a week as it makes me hyper! Sunday mornings - a strong coffee with as much cream and brown sugar as possible!

Italian or Central American style roast, brewed really strong, with about half a spoon of sugar just to take the edge off. Every morning. Just one mug. I usually don't even completely finish the mug. As strong as I brew it, it would probably eat a hole through my belly if I drank much more!

I do decaf because if I have caffeine too late in the day, I'd never go to sleep at night. I love my coffee "regular" as well. It's awesome that Dunkin' Donuts does that for you--one of the many things I love about Dunkin' Donuts. Oh, and Starbucks Mochas! My absolute favorite.

OK . . . true confession . . .

I do not like coffee. Never have. Tried a few sips at one point. Haven't tried it since. I don't even care for the smell of coffee that much. But I put up with it out of love because dh is addicted to the stuff.

Now, knowing that about me, will you still be my friend, Maryan?

I am a tea and coffee drinker both. I make coffee every morning. But my 9 year old dd holds her nose every morning as she walks through the kitchen for breakfast. She can't stand the smell of it !

I love my coffee to be strong, with one of
these yummy creamers!

I like my coffee with cream. Most of the time I drink coffee with milk because I forget to buy cream.

I don't drink coffee. I pretty much have the identical confession as Irene. People cannot believe that I never drank it - especially having made it through college without developing the habit.

You couldn't really get it wrong for me. I'll drink fancy starbucks-esque stuff if it is on offer, but as it seldom is, I'll just take whatever I can get. Out I usually add lots of milk or cream as it often seems bitter and like it has sat about waiting on a hot plate for a long time.   At home, we use a french press, just cheap supermarket coffee as that is all we can afford, and I have been weaning myself down from half coffee half milk, to just a splash of whole milk.

I'm silly, we drink Maxell House coffe, from the big can, usually Bold - because - well, like I said, I'm silly....I live on Maxwell Rd.

Seriously though, I brew it strong, press it, and take it with cream and sugar, from my big yellow mug, every morning! When I'm not pregnant, I have a second cup in the afternoon. If I'm out - occasionally I get a cafe mocha from Tim Horton's - or and Ice Cap when it's hot!

I drink tea all week, but on the weekend I splurge with coffee! I like it really strong with lots of cream and sugar! If I have something really sweet to eat with it, I'll take it black, with just a little sugar. I like the contrast.

KC brought us the most delicious Starbucks mochas when we met up at JennGM's... they hit the spot!!

And right now I wish I could be inhaling my coffee via PDyer style (aka via IV)...

I forgot to say that I'm switching to Mystic Monk coffee (it tastes more like Starbucks) which is not my preference... but I like where my $ is going. My fil and I have been sampling different ones on Sundays. But... I still take it loaded. (Colleen they do have some fair trade coffee too).

Blond and sweet for this somewhat sarcastic brunette!

And it has to be decaf or, as I tell the little baristas, "I will come find you at two o'clock in the morning and poke your nose"!
