Oh no, Marianne. I had been praying all weekend, but hadn't checked the forums for updates. I'm so sorry to see this news. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers and hope that you all will be comforted in your sorrow.
I have had one D&C, but I was almost 14 weeks. My doctor recommended the D&C because I was so far along. I decided to take his recommendation because everything just seemed so emotionally painful. If I had to do it over again, though, I think I would opt for a natural delivery. I lost a lot of blood with the D&C, though afterwards I healed fine.

Final update:
Thank you all for praying, I just wish I could hug everyone! I was able to deliver naturally last night around midnight, and my OB confirmed that the miscarriage is complete. It was a very scary experience, but much better for me in the end than having to go in for a procedure, I'm sure.
Thank you so much for all the kind words. Elizabeth, your pm box is full so I couldn't respond that way, but I appreciate your prayers and concern very much, too! Praise God I am not feeling any bitterness - just a peaceful sadness. I'll be praying for all the new little souls and their sweet mommies - it truly lifts my spirits to see other babies and mothers doing well.
