Just got word that Sarah will be discharged from the hospital this afternoon!! She will be going to an inpatient rehab hospital just 15 minutes from us!!

Just wanted to post an update. Sarah has been at a nearby rehab hospital for the past week. She got to come home for a while on Father's Day, which was a great blessing. The word is that she may be discharged to come home by the end of the week. She is doing well with rehab although there are still some issues that need to resolve. Thank you for all your prayers for her.

Thought I'd come over here to update.
My dh just went over to pick up Sarah from the rehab hospital for discharge!!
She came over here yesterday with a physical therapist who made a home visit, to make some suggestions for some modifications that will help Sarah in her transition to home, such as stair railings and a hand held shower head. She literally speedwalked in with a walker!
Last night, back at the hospital, she walked on her own, with me just holding her hand!!
She still has bowel and bladder issues, but we are optimistic that they too will be healed.
Many, many thanks for all your prayers!! Knowing that prayers were being said for her literally worldwide has been such a comfort to me and I know that they have been so helpful to her in her fast recovery!
God is good!!

I told Sarah that someone in Australia has been praying for her! I know she thinks that her mom is a little crazy with her online forums, but she does appreciate the prayers!
